Laid Back and Intimate Greenwich Pub Garden Wedding

Bride and groom holding hands walking through Greenwich, London

Last August on a sunny summers day I had the honour of capturing Chloe and Matt’s wedding set in beautiful Greenwich, London. Their beautiful day was laid back, modern and centred around their family and friends.

Chloe got ready in the most stunning Greenwich town house which was flooded with natural light - I was in my element.  The vintage camper van took us to Admirals House set on the Old Royal Naval College grounds where a buzz of excitement was in the air! Matt and Chloe had a ‘first look’ before the ceremony, which was a beautiful and moving moment to photograph. They then walked hand in hand down the isle together just beaming. After the ceremony, along with their 40 guests they enjoyed bubbles, canapés and photos outside overlooking the iconic River Thames.

We walked to The Old Brewery for their relaxed pub garden reception during the afternoon. The space was perfect for an intimate wedding where the guests enjoyed delicious food and summer cocktails.  I took Matt and Chloe out for some couple photos during the warm evening as the sun was setting around the college grounds in Greenwich, which makes for a beautiful backdrop.  Chloe and Matt then got to dance under the stars (and confetti canons) for their first dance just after their evening guests arrived. I didn’t want to leave - it was just all gorgeous! All day I felt incredibly lucky I was able to capture such a fabulous day for such a lovely couple, who had the loveliest family and friends to match.
